Will Ministry select a Member this time?
The Ministry of I&B has invited applications for the posts of Member, Pers and Finance. The post of Member, Pers is lying vacant since February 2017 while Member, Finance is vacant since November 10, 2024. According to sources this is the fourth time applications have been invited for the post of Member, Pers. Earlier applications were rejected for not finding a 'suitable candidate'. Though all the time officials and others applied in bulk, including IAS and IPS. But the Competent Authority could not find a suitable candidate and they were reportedly rejected at the screening level. And that is the reason the sources are doubtful whether the ministry this time will find a suitable candidate?
